To develop, enhance and protect the natural environment and cultural heritage of the Carlingford Lough Area to achieve a level of excellence in sustainable tourism, which will establish the area as the prime tourist destination on the east coast of Ireland.

Central to achieving this goal is the building of a bridge at Narrow Water.
